At Ihop with Mom and Dad
Today was so much fun! The whole Schriver gang went out Christmas shopping today, including our adopted little brothers Quentin and Matt. We started off the morning with a delicious breakfast at Ihop and then we spent the entire rest of the day Christmas shopping in all of the very busy stores! I am so excited for Christmas day! I can't wait to see everybody open up there presents!
I read these verses in my devotions today. God is teaching me that He is good all the time, no matter what the circumstances and I need to worship Him because of who He is, not because of the way I feel! Life is so much better when I focus on all the things that God has done for me instead of dwelling on all the things that I can't change. God brings so many blessing back to my mind when I think about God's goodness to me. The Lord's been so good to me and my family!
"Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts. O worship the LORD inthe beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth." Psalm 96:8-9
